Just wondering about using the ditributor and wires instead of the internal coils on the VE. Why do you have to do this?
I know the rotor senses the exhaust camshaft position to "figure" out the crank angle. Not sure how the VE does this. I thought distro and wires were less precise, and somewhat archaic. Is it just for compatability in US cars?
