My project of 2+ years. Building a B15 Road Racer. Thanks to alot of folks including JWT, sr20forums, B15sentra.net, Meris Motorsports, Low e.t. Racing, Simonte Autosports, a bunch of guys on the se-r.net mailing list, and the wifey; its finally complete. Actually, I have a few minor things left on it but its mostly done. Thought I'd share. Looking to run it in the SE-R Cup for a bit and then in the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) in 2006. If there are any prospective sponsors out there, please contact me at qr25de1@yahoo.com to discuss further marketing opportunities. As you can see I have plenty of prime real estate left on the car. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking..... --John Almazan

nice. looks like there's NOTHING left of the B15 harness...
you've probably done this already, but i would make some ductwork for that radiator and look into an oil cooler. SR20s, while strong like bull, like to overheat. those holes on either side of the radiator makes it easier for the air to go around it.
SR20s also like to peg 300* oil temp guages in race conditions, so a cooler is nice.
btw, might want to move the battery kill switch somewhere the emergency workers can reach it too, in case you get knocked out or something. mine will go next to the driver's mirror.

3 inch intake piping
Dirty K&N Filter
94 SE-R wiring Harness (Only B15 harness are the tail lights)
JWT tuned ECU for SR20VE, 91 Octane, DE TB/MAF
3 Inch Exhaust with Dynomax Bullet Muffler (if you call it that)
Painted by Miracle Auto in Napa, CA.
No shift knob as I recently got outbidded for it by someone on ebay
Car puts down ~184 hp and ~152 lbs/ft torque to the wheels
Not extraordinary numbers but I'm building for reliability. Speed will come later as I drive faster.
I haven't had a chance to shake the car down yet so there are still some unknowns to it. We'll work them out as they show up.

Had some discussion about that and my view is this....what if the driver side is pinned up against a wall or its sitting on its side (driver side)? Then the emergency workers can't get to it. I figure you can get to it from either side if I centralize it. At any rate, the tech inspector will have final say over it.

You're right about that oil cooler. Just so much to do on the car, had to prioritize my needs. Will get one eventually. I want to see what temps I'm really seeing and then get the right size oil cooler. --John
