msd rpm box to vvl soleniod question.

I have read that a realy is needed to up the amp. to the soleniod from the msd rpm swithch box. I read to just use a normal nissan 4 prong soleniod.
my question is, do i need this in order for the cams to change? and if so, how to wire the realy????

Ok, so heres how i think it needs to be done.?? is this right?

the numbers are the identification numbers on the relay itself, 12v is battery , switched is ignition.
