bottom line you don't have the money to get one
If you do have the money and the time to wait you should spend that time researching what you are trying to talk about.

who has the search GIF? I think this guy honestly doesn't understand, which is fine.

Syed, do you have $4500 or so to spend on the motor? I think Miko will be getting a couple, and if I remember correctly, that's how much they are going for.

Are you ready to spend about $4500? If so I can probably point you in the right direction

Don't PM him unless your serious. He doesn't have time to waste if you don't have the cash.

What are you looking to put this in? You shouldn't assume that the trans and ecu are included. The trans would be AWD, so that's not going to help you much. You would use any SR20 transmission, preferably a B15/P11 trans for a supposed 15% increase in strength. As far as ECU, I'm not really sure.

Couple threads to look at:

Okay syed. I've looked at your first few posts on the forum and since I am in an especially OK mood today, I'm going to help you out a little bit. First of all, how old are you? I can already tell that you don't have much experience, if any working on cars. I see that you posted in a thread for a 1st gen HS header for your SR20VET? You need to do some research, read all the FAQ's, etc.

The Technical Information Library is a good place to start:
http://www.sr20forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=96

Also, go to www.se-r.net and do some reading. You will get a lot of the basics from there.

I would suggest that for now, you do a lot more reading and a lot less posting. Be glad this isn't a "normal" forum, there is a HUGE wealth of knowledge here.

Andreas miko could probably hook u up. But listen mang. I'm gonna ask you something. What do you plan on doing with a vet that you can't do with a DET?

I mean yeah if you got the cash go ahead and play. But i mean you can make some great power with a det. Probably within stricking distance of a VET.

From what i've read yeah the VET is beefy, but its not like a det is not also beefy. Ok the head flows better, and you get the trick cams. Put some s4's in a det and there you go, you got yourself some heavier breathing cams. Water cooling effeciency. Get yourself a koyo, and the water pump pulley, and fans. The VET is like 3k more then a det.

The VET is some neat toy to get but in all honesty you can do the same with a det and save money. Money that your probably gonna need if you bust your tranny with that crazy POWAH!
