wiring question, VE into an SE

This is the connectors on the drivers side right above the tranny and below the air intake. The DE harness had three connectors, while the GA only had two. I know with the VE you have to splice into this connector, does any one know if the which wire is which or if pollarity even matters ( which i expect it does ). Both have the same color code, black w/ yellow stripe.

I think it connects to this one with red and black wires. because the other connector is only one wire.

I don't have the battery hooked up yet, so if testing + or - is required i guess i'll wait a couple days. Any help would be appreciated.

Just an update, I am almost positive that this is the hookup for the AAC valve ( Idle air control ) .

I hooked up the harness that matched, the one wire harness not connected to anything, and the other one is the one in the first picture of the first post. ( black/yellow, and black/yellow)

I was going to just add power and ground to it, but I wans't sure if you needed to connect it to the loose harness. Doing it that way I will have another harness that is not used.
