Finally Got Her Running Right

I finally got my car running right last night. Well almost right, still waiting on my calum ecu. I am running the DE ecu right now.

My complete setup is:
CAI, AEBS header, 3"VRS exhaust (no cat), ASP underdriver pulley, B15 LSD tranny, CLustmaster Stage IV, Fidanza Flywheel, and stock cams.

The car is still riding on worn out G20 14"s, so she smokes the tires real bad. VVL kicks in with meanest.

It does have a few problems: speedo not working (i couldnt get that damn electric sensor out), temp gauge reads cold 90% of the time, and DE ecu makes her run a tad rich.

my speedo works.. but everything else like the temp gauge reads cold all the time and it runs rich.. what can be the problem with the temp gauge?

i have a temp gauge problem as well. i swapped over the coolant temp sensor from a 1.6L to a 2.0. still doesnt work.

There are two temp sensors. One for gauge (single spade) and one of the ecu to look at (dual spade).

I left all the jdm sensors in. So i think the single spade jdm sensor is my problem. But i will need the jdm dual spade because i plan on runnin the calum ecu.

the important thing is are your fans turning on. if they are then you should just switch out the single spade connector because that one is for the guage.

You need both USDM sensors. Calum's ecu uses the USDM also (unless all you asked for was the SR16VE rom). I have both USDM's and Calum's ecu, and it runs fine along w/ the temp. gauge acting normal.

ok i put in the calum ecu today and the gauge on the dash now reads the correct temperature. Strange cause that sensor shouldnt have anything to do with the ecu. But now my radiator fans dont come on as soon as the use to. In fact they dont come on even when the AC is on.
