Cobra MAF on a SR20VE?

Hello,
I have a few questions regarding a SR20VE.
1) Does anyone know if JWT has a program to run a Cobra MAF on a SR20VE?
2) I am considering running NOS and was thinking I would probably be maxing out the stock SE-R MAF.
3) Does anyone know if the fuel rail is the same as a low-port SR20DE?

Jon

I'm not sure you'd need a Cobra MAF after seeing the size of the VE unit. I've decided if possible, I'll be using the VE MAF with the DE harness. The VE MAF is larger than the DE's which leads me to believe it will flow more.

Oh, I spoke with Chris at SR20 Development and he told me just to use the stock SE-R MAF.

JWT does not have a program for a Cobra MAF and SR20VE. I tried that route already

Are you saying JWT cannot program the DE ECU to accept the VE MAF? I'll use the DE MAF if I have to but looking at the VE unit makes me think we might be sacrificing some power if we don't use it. I wonder why JWT can't program it for the VE MAF.

No, I'm saying the JWT doesn't have a program for a COBRA MAF with an SR20VE. They also do not have a program for the VE MAF either. Only the DE MAF with SR20VE. All this according to Ben.

Hello,
I spoke to Ben @ JWT today and he said the only VE program to work with the Cobra MAF is for a turbocharged setup. He said he would talk to Clark and see if he has any interest in creating a program for a SR20VE with the Cobra MAF as well as one for use with NOS. He said he would let me know something in a couple of days.

...........

I'm startin to sound like a broken record but what the hell. After looking through the AFC manual. It's set for HW16 if u had a stock SR20VE. So if u had it installed to the AFC u would have to use in the INsettin of the SR20VE and the out for the SR20DE then u could run the SR20VE MAF. phew

Just so you guys know, the MAF doesn't even come into play when using NOS. Remember the nitrous is sprayed in AFTER the MAF and before the throttle body (or into the manifold in a direct port setup) so those readings don't even matter.

How do I know, I goofed myself and purchased a Cobra MAF for my intended NOS setup and then realized that I didn't need it. I ended up selling my Cobra MAF.

What I'm really interested in is can JWT program the DE ECU to accept to the use of the VE MAF?
