SR20VE Turbo Project

Hello guys,
we´re a shop located in Peru (South America). About a year ago we made the 1st transplant of a JDM SR20VE engine from a Primero into a light Sentra B14. Everything works awesome.

The next step we added a haltech E6X standalone ECU which works pretty good.

The owner now wants to go to the next step with turbo. I thought I would ask you guys out there about the things needed to accomplish this task and ask for any tips or tricks you might suggest.

Here´s my list:
  1. Turbo
  2. Manifold
  3. wastegate
  4. blowoff
  5. downpipe
  6. oil cooler
  7. inyectors (size??)
  8. intercooler
  9. piping

We need to lower the stock c/r. Do you know if the SR20DET pistons fit?

All inputs are appreciated.

regards,

fontaracing

here you go.

http://walbro-tdd.com/prodottie.html

The base model (enough for any street car) sells in Europe for around 750 euros. Biggest model sells around 7K euros. This is a 100% standalone racing ECU, not a piggyback.

They also have stuff for telemetry and data logging.

Hello guys,
we just finished putting everything together and programming the standalone for the engine. As we are just breaking in into the engine we´re running 10psi. The sentra b14 shell was lightned replacing the hood, doors (4) and trunk with fiberglass models.

cheers.

For anyone out there interested we can provide door, hood and trunk light weight premium fiberglass replicas for export to the USA. Good prices.

WoW.... your B14s have a lot of space between the radiator and the motor.

We have extended the chasis a couple of centimeters otherwise the turbo wouldn´t fit in the stock engine compartment.
