VE cam switchover points higher, why?

My VE switchover points have moved up about 1000-1500rpm. Can anybody
comment on what could be causing this? I'm using MSD rpm switches with the
pills at 5000/5200.

Peter

Maybe check your rpm source (for the msd), see if the reading is correct.

How would I go about doing that? wait - I might be able to locate an
external tach. Cool. That's one thing to check!
