Oil leak on ve

The only place it can come from now is the main crank seal at the tranny side...

We did replace this seal with a new seal for a high port DE before installing the motor. Does anyone know if that's the same as the VE's seal?

Should I perhaps try one form a low port motor? Could a Payen seal be inferior to an OEM nissan seal?

Anyone?

Is VE main rear crank seal the same as a High Port or Low Port seal or Neither?

I really need this info. Thanks

I think all SR20 rear main seals are the same. I replaced mine when I had the motor out, but I don't know the part number I used. Maybe it got nicked, or put in not flush.

all the rear main seals are the same. some vary in color. older de's will have a brown colored one, while newer de's will have a black colored one, but all the same.
