Mugen 3" Twin Loop Options

Anyone have any experience with this type of muffler on a VE? Any ideas on noise levels on the highway?

For the price, it's worth a shot.

I saw them install the "real one" on a RSX on tuner transformation or some other show on Speed channel, it didn't sound too bad at all. They said the reverse path cancelled out the higher frequency noise, eliminating the rice-rocket fart can sound.

Inlet is 2.5", outlet is 3". Don't know if you actually noticed that or not.

My oldest son has one on his 97 civic with a B-18C in it and it sounds great. But it's the real mugen too. YMMV.

It's definitely the right price but look at the guys Ebay feedback!! 32 negative feedbacks in the last month. Wow.

If you were to buy it, be cautious.

Yeah I saw that...I was hoping it was 3" all the way through. Not to be. Hmm. I guess for a full 3" system its out. But I guess I could try it if I rig up my exhaust cut-out for those "I need more power" situations

You need a bigger exhaust tip.
