Really quick question... right at the end of the swap!

Hey guys, I am literally posting from my garage. I am about 10 minutes away from a complete SR20VE swap.

I have a question. There is one vacuum line remaining, and I have no idea where it goes. It is a vacuum line going from the fuel pump, the nipple is facing towards the passenger side.

What is this, and where does it hook up?

This should be the exact same as a lowport setup... Let me know asap, I wanna hear her purr.

I don't think you mean "fuel pump".

Maybe the fuel pressure regulator? If so, there is a fuel pulse damper (looks like another FPR) on the passenger side of the engine.

Is that what you're referring to?

No, it's definately coming off the fuel pump.

Big black can on the drivers side. On it there are two small nipples that look like the take vacuum lines. The top one goes to intake manifold, the other I have no idea what it does.

The fuel pump is in the tank....

Sounds like you are talking about the carbon canister.

No cruise control or AC or ABS in this VE HI CLE

What ever it is, it's a black can with a line going to a thing that has the line going to the fuel filter connected to it.

Easier to see on mine with it being RHD...

Under the strut bar in the top right corner of the engine bay.

That's it. It's got two blue lines and one black line going to it. I am trying to figure out where the blue line with the silver clamp goes.

On mine, the right line goes to the fuel tank. The top left one goes to the vac pipes down the back of the intake (where the EGR solenoid is) and the one under it goes to the intake on the back of the plenum.

That goes to the nipple on the intake manifold, just after the TB.

Well mine is stock (although it's a UK Primera) and that line goes to a Y piece which splits off to the BPT and to the vac gallery bit with the EGR solenoid at the bottom of it.

just a reminder before you turn the key... kus i've done this. the fpr regulates the ammount of fuel being released from the rail, not going into it. so the line with the fuel filter should not be pluged into the fuel pressure regulator.
