the budget dyno run....

just kinda wanted to let people know what i dynoed at with the mods i got so the empy pocket people out there know what they can do with minimal cash.it was done on a dynojet.dont have pics of the run yet but i will post em as soon as i can as i have dial-up and got to go to a friends house to do it.here are my mods:

SR20VE
stock cams
cheap ass PACE SETTER header
ebay filter and MAF adapter
MSD non-digital RPM trigger switch
2 and a half inch CRUSH BENT EXAUST,no cats or resonator
S-AFC
g20 ECU
and a 89-94 maxima maf that everybody told me is useless and is a waste of money but CALUM recomends it to ALL VE guys
this was done in a b14 so everything is obd2

I actually had better peak HP numbers then this but this is the only one that stayed clean and consistant through the entire power band:

uncorrected:
max power=172.72 max torque=139.30
air/fuel was at 15.5 from 2500 rpm and dropped to 14.5 from 3000-4000rpm andand from 5000+ it stayed at 13.5.
TPS was at 3.96 volts
temp was at 90 degrees with 18% humidity ,uncorrected: 1.00

sorry i dont have a pic of the run posted but it will be soon, like i said my internet is to slow to try to accomplish that and the thumb drive that the runs were on dont work for some reason so i gotta scan the hard copy and post that one.let me know what you guys think

not bad #'s bro. in fact, better than some others with more $$elaborate$$ setups.
how does the car run @ other than wot? any hiccup's? idle good? smooth power delivery?
do you have more time for tweaking before you go to the desert?
(off topic) keep your head down over there man!! and i hope god watch's over you.

thanks. As i said,we were able to get close to 174WHP but it spiked alot and had an inconsistant power band.the car runs great on normal driving, and i think that it actually runs a lot better at normal driving then my DE did.It is way more responsive. No hiccups.Great idle at around 875rpm.I have about a month of tweeking and then i gotta kinda focus on the deployment, why?what did you have in mind?thanks for the blessing! I have been there when the war initially started so hopefully this other year i spend over there is a little better then the last year i spent there.thanks for all the responces and as I said,I will post the run ASAP.thanks guys.

cool bro.all i know is that we recently found out that he didnt dyno my car to redline(7500rpm,he let off at around 6800rpm) and the weather was pretty hot and humid.I am assuming that it would have done alot better if they would have corrected these thing but i will never make such claims untill i had the proof to back it up.so right now i will simply say that this is what i made.

we did that and it got the higher HP's at top end but the powerband was sh*t untill 6000rpm.that is what i was talkin about when i said we made almost 174WHP at 13.0 A/F fatio but it was at almost a 5WHP loss here and ther throughout the powerband and it was really choppy.so i had them keep it at the richer setings to keep a clean cosistant powerband.but thanks for the advice buy the way,JFYI, the nissans stock ECU's were designed to run a little rich from factory because the SR20's like to run a little richer then most.the B14 was at like 14.5 from stock if i am correct.(not tryin to be cocky, just tryin to better explain my reasoning)

I have about a month of tweeking and then i gotta kinda focus on the deployment, why?what did you have in mind?

i was just thinking you may make more power still, if you adjusted the tps wot voltage to around 4.1v-4.15v

I am using the DE TB (if that effects anything) but the reason i dont have it adjusted there is because the TPS is maxed out and 3.9V is as high as i could get it.do you think there is a reason for this and if so then do you think i could correct it?thanks for any info on this.
