For those of you who followed the swap (and those who havnt can look here
http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20ve-sr16ve/157504-holy-damn-so-i-finally-got-my-vvl-check-here-updates.html)
have seen the many pictures and the look of good times and whatnot... What you dont see is the amount of work that is done to keep this car running reliably and stable...
(Many Thank to Lance, Rob and Kenniel for keeping this car on the road...)
I for some reason have had a bunch of problems with my car not due to any problems with the swap but the sheer fact that the car is old and JDM Swaps dont always run perfectly...
So Finally most of the kinks are worked out...
My Fuel problem that I was having is pretty much taken care of due to a faulty HEAD TEMP sensor the car was running all retarded and the fuel mixture was wayyy rich...
We fixed some problem leak spots where oil was coming out of the motor in significant quantitys with that taken care of I am a little bit more at ease. Today a Nismo FPR was intalled along with my liquid filled guage and a oil change was completed. Driving the car feels a whole lot more stable...
But after all of that we had some fun Many thanks to Kenniel for helping me out with all that but a major difference was felt when we replaced the de computer with a unamed (for now until I get a go ahead) ECU. Low end grunt was felt hard thru the gears... Here is a short clip of us in the car out on a test run...
ECU.MPG
The vid may take a little bit to dl it is uncompressed...
Pictures will be added in tommorrow in the day... Enjoy
Thanks for reading I have other stuff coming soon...
