Got ace in the face? It was a joke, he was quoting a line from Braveheart and then proceded to demonstrate it...LOL

It isnt a bluetop, thats the cracked V/C that was used to keep most of the stuff out while the motor was going in. As you can see its got overspray all over it. Go through all the pics again and you will see what motor it really is

The motor is about a 11.2:1 DE/VE hybrid. 10:1 bottom end with a VE head. More updates to come throughout the week.

Thank Linus, I appreciate that. I'm happy that the motor is in but I have yet to start it up.

There are so many things that are going to be done to it. Knowing what I know now, I would have just bought a Sr20ve instead of piecing it together. The only reason it was pieced together is because I just kept getting more and more stuff lead me to the direction of a VE and away from the DE w/ cams that I had. Here is a list of what I can think of at the moment:

-no A/C and power steering stuff
-B13 manual steering rack
-gutting as much as possible
-Calum ECU
-'97 200sx Se-r tranny
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Thermoblock spacers
-GC Castor/Camber plates
-Momo style steering wheel (Tenzo I believe, but not the Ebay special)
-KYB AGX w/ GC coilovers @ 375/300 spring rates
-Whiteline LCA brace (thank you VERY much to a particular forum member for working with me on this. I don't know if they want to be named so I will let them remain nameless here)
-3" VRS Stainless Stell exhaust - catback all the way to a tip. Brand new.
-PR CAI w/ K&N filter
-soon to order my 3" stainless test pipe (just not something I need at the moment)
-Crank scraper and windage tray from Kevin and Sammi Johnson at
CrankScrapers.com
-VE front cover/oil pump
-UR Pullies - 2 piece Silver set
-(4) 15" Rota C8 Steel Grey rims with 205/50R15 Bridgestone S03's on them (used for track, good for about 2 more events)
-(4) 15" Rota C8 Black w/ polished lip rims
-(4) Kumho Victoracers - Size: 205/50R15 Used in two events in the rain. They started all as full treads, but now have about 4/32" left on them. (Unmounted. I was going to use these but now I just want a set of Azenis. I don't have the skill set yet to move up to R compounds.)
-NX Radiator
-AEBS Header - really good condition. slight denting on the bottom and 2 hairline cracks in the merger that I found today. They are VERY minor.
-Clutchmasters 9lb. Flywheel
-ACT HDSS clutch setup
-Stillen front strut tie bar
-Active Tuning Rear strut tie bar
-Full ES bushing set for the car
-Prothane 4-piece motor mounts
-11.75" BABK for the front brakes with Carbotech Panther Plus pads
-Maxima rear brake setup with most likely keep Advance Auto pads
-Stainless steel lines all the way around
-Altima M/C
-OEM LSD axles
-Momo Start racing seat
-2 MSD RPM activated switches (I'm looking to sell these and switch to a Greddy MSS)
-Lotek B13 3-gauge pillar pod
-VDO Vision water temp., oil temp. and oil pressure gauges
-NisSport Oil pressure and CS water temp. adapters
-relocation kit/line for the oil pressure sending unit
-a lot of replaced bolts on the engine and in the engine bay with either Stainless hardware(were I felt it was needed) or Zinc coated

Buy some new jeans "while you're in there", Sterling.

Just kidding, man. It looks REALLY sweet (the engine stuff, that is), and I can't wait to hear your impressions once everything is up and running. Keep the photos coming, just don't shoot any more that don't have an engine or B13 in them.

They are apart of the "garage only" clothes.

Does that mean I get photography lessons from you now?

Thanks everyone. I just feel better that I have it in the car. Now I just need to find that washers for the fuel pump so I can install it. Almost there but still so far away.s
