VE Injectors becoming maxed out

I was thinking, the VE injectors are around 314cc right? Well, if 370cc injectors top out around mid 200's at the wheel, then the VE injectors might start running out of room at around 213 (give or take a few) horsepower at the wheels. I wonder if this will be a problem for those of you with full exhaust, CAI, SR16VE cams, Intake and header. Would be nice peace of mind if Clark could make a program with 370cc injectors so that you would never have to worry about it. Another option might be making a 4 bar program for the 314s, so you could just slap on a regulator, instead having having to throw the 370s in the rail. Just tossing sh*t out there cause I am bored!

You would be better off just putting in 370cc inj and putting a Nismo adjustable Regulator and lowering the fuel presure a tad bit. The diffrence between 370cc and 314cc are minimal enough where you do not have to get so technical. The computer has a little room for self adjustment also.

According to JWT and their flowbench the VE injectors are 333cc. I just spoke with Clark again yesterday and verified this.

Has anyone tried the 370cc injectors off the SR20DET motors? I don't know if they're a direct fit or not? You can get a set off the DET guys for a fairly good price. I'll be having my own set when I upgrade my RWD SR20DET injectors, I'll see if they work then..

O.K. Let's say you got the basic bolt ons, CAI, Fujitsubo headers, 2.5" exhaust, 2.5" test pipe, FPR, a JWT VE ECU set for 370cc injectors, and you put in 370cc injectors. With these mods, you think that will break the 200hp to the wheel mark???

the injs are about 333cc. Please also note that the NA motors can be run alittle leaner than turbo motors so you will have to make about 225-230 WHP to start pushing these injs hard.

O.K. Just wanted to toss the idea out there. If "we" ever make that much WHP or more

Andreas said above, you have to make 225-230whp to start getting close to the injector's limits. If you make 175-180whp with a basic VE, then add another 75-100 hp (which is most likely too much nitrous for an internally stock VE) then you'd be well past the whp range he just mentioned...

With a Dry system yes, with a wet system no. On both you need to upgrade the fuel pump to be safe.
