Parts for VE

Just thought I would let you know about my recent experience. As I think you may know, I want to purchase a SR20VE from Andreas. He has a SR16VE but needs a head gasket to transform the engine into an sr20ve. The only thing holding us up at this point is the lack of a head gasket. Andreas gave me the part # and I was going to use some connections (Shoes59/or family friends) to try and get the head gasket. Just for kicks I called Brain with Courtesy Nissan. It only took him a day to confirm that he can orders the parts through his connections. Considering this is a Japan only engine I was pretty surprised.

From what I've found out you can pretty much order anything from a Nissan dealer and as long as you have a part# it will come. Might take a month or so to get here from Japan but it will come.

The trick is getting the part numbers.
