Those of us on the right half of the country swear by this guy, he's so honest and up front it makes your teeth hurt. You can't get much further away, though, living on the wa/id border. Seems to me somebody here mentioned some suppliers up thataway and hopefully they'll show up here to let us know. You might find out from Dre - Miko - full name Andreas Mikoleiczik - what it'd cost to get one out to you, though, as he does indeed have one heck of a source for those motors. The priceless part is once you get a motor from him he'll be right there on the phone when you need him to help you through the install - and he's done a bunch of 'em.

Check with Debunk... he's located close to us (WA/OR/ID) and has a good reputation for getting quality motors.

Why don't you check for importers in your state? If you have a problem with the motor no way it's going to get resolved when it came from across the country.

It would if it's Dre. You obviously don't know of this guy. Only reason I suggested trying to find a reputable - repeat reputable - importer on the left coast is shipping cost - it has to come all the way to the east coast only to go halfway back to Japan.

I am ordering mine from Miko this week. There is honestly no one else I would rather give my money to. There is no doubt in my mind that he will take care of you.

I was going to just purchase a ve head from him, but he talked me out of it. It wouldn't be very cost efficient.

Talk to Greg Vogel on this very forum. Under the G Spec section, he sells them and he's in Cali.

Miko have a few sr20ve engines, I am sure if you call him he will get back to you. His number is on his signature. You need the head and i need the block.

Dre's a multinational man - he does travel beyond reach sometimes; be patient. The guy is as honest as the - well, no good analogy. He's just pure honest. Greg's an A1 good guy, too, he's out there on the left coast.

Andreas if you live near FL, It's really too much of a hassle with dealing with problems that come up buying a motor from out of state and having to pay shipping. Broke If you take a trip to some of your local importers I'm sure you can find a VE and save some money at the same time.

There's a lot to be said for the caliber of people you choose to work with. I had four possible sources for my engine, two of them a very short drive to bring one back in a pickup. It was an easy choice to both spend more for the motor AND the shipping to have Dre at my side.
