ve owners in CA-- question

Anyone got any hookups in norcal sf, berkley etc... I'm moving out there in April.

I figure I have 2 options. Hookup who will overlook visual

or

make the eninge look like stock b14. I have the stock ve headers I can put on it and get an airbox and some fake egr stuff. Anyone else done this to there ve and passed underhood. I'm thinking I would almost prefer this route. This way if I ever do get pulled over for something I don't run the risk of confiscation etc... I figure I'll loose 10whp from taking the fuji off but I just want to be able to drive my ve there. Also, will I run into any issues with suspension modificaion, or cat back exhaust? (it's quite just put a 22" res on the car, but muffler is straight through)

I know there is a guy who just dynoed his ve in ca with the stock headers, but I can't find his thread.

With the sr16 cams and the jw ecu I'm not too concerned with tailpipe...

you might be able to hide your fuji with the stock heat shield.

or pay some extra $$ and dont remove/add anything and you'll still pass....

if youre in the san jose area i got a hook up, PM me. otherwise, most places in CA you'll be able to find a similiar type of shop....

ve's do pass tailpipe tests though, only visuals are the hard part
