yea switching them indedpendantly would smooth it out a bit. i dont car, i just raised it to 6k...

Hmm i should really get the graphs of our 50k mile ve with sr16 cams making 214whp on the packs. I'll post back Monday.

just done the conversion recently and the dyno yesterday.

188.6 front wheeled hp @ 7000rpm
150 ftlb @ 7000rpm

Run 65= Franklin cam 67= N1 cam

Franklin cams S3 vs N1 same day dyno's cam gears set to zero timing stayed the same. It was about 40min apart and reved to 9k. no reprogramming same program for both cams. In a nut shell they are just the same like they said.

I forget what we had, I think it was like 5k for intake and 5300-5400 for the exhaust. They stayed the same during both dyno runs.

The FS3 are advertised as N1 copy. The runs were 40 minutes apart with no change to timing, fuel, or activation points. The N1 ran a tad bit richer. As you can see by the dip at 5,000 rpm, the intake was kicking in too early.

Same runs just with the correction factor set to STD not SAE

Yea, I knew they were advertised as N1 copies but we haven't had any actual proof until now. There were measurements taken that showed they were actually pretty different than the N1's IIRC, but no proof. It's nice to finally know for sure. What was the price of the Franklins again?

Cams: SR20VE
Intake: generic pod filter
Header: xforce 4>2>1
Exhaust: 2.5"
ECU: retuned sr20de
Intake/Exhaust: 5000/5000

this is a hub dyno.
apparently it intermittently doesnt want to rev past ~7200rpm, possibly a faulty CAS according to the tuner.

My friend's SR20VVL in Taiwan
Using P12 CAM , N1 intake,Fuji down pipe , Fcon vpro ...etc.
