It seems that people are needing parts for the VE. I have ordered some head gaskets from Brain at Courtesy Nissan before. The parts were more expensive because of shipping. If we can get an order together then the shipping would be reduced due to volume. I was personally going to get some caps and rotors. I don't know if there is any other regular maintenance item I can't get easily that I should also get at this time. Let me know if others want to do this. When we have a complete order Brain will collect the money and split the shipping fairly between everyone. Please respond here to get an idea of the interest.
I haven't had time to check the Dist and Rotor numbers but will gladly split shipping costs if you order me one of each. Let me know if you still need the part numbers.

Please check the part numbers. I do need that for the order. After that we can send them to Chuck and maybe he can post them in the new sticky on this forum. Thanks.
the ve dist and rotor are not the same as a b14. you might be able to get a b14 cap on a ve dist but it won't work because the clocking is completely different. you can build the two distributors together so it will mount and use a b14 cap/rotor/wiring. be careful not to do it wrong. or it wont work. i can do it for you if you send both distributors for $85 plus shipping.

Bigtom, I'm still waiting for your reply to my question regarding the new JWT program for the VE. What makes it better than previous versions and is it programmed to run the VE injectors and MAF?

I think Chuck already has the P/N for the distributor cap listed on the sticky but I'll pull the P/N's for that and the rotor by tomorrow
Im in it for the dist cap and rotor, exhaust man. gasket, and head gasket. i dont need the parts yet, but i figure i will when i get the motor sometime since i am stroking it. Are the sr16 and sr20 head gaskets the same?
Distributor Cap = ?????
Rotor = ???????
Head Gasket = 11044-1N500
Exhaust Manifold Gasket = ????
I am assuming that Skyliner and CNibanna don't really want a new distributor just the cap. Is that correct????
Also, to my knowledge the Head Gaskets for both engines are the same.
Can someone please get the numbers on the Rotor and the Exhaust Manifold Gasket. Andreas, BigTom, CNibanna!!!!!!! Shoes59 has a non-oem rotor on his car right now.
I'm in for a cap, rotor and exhaust gasket, one of those head gaskets coming is for my SR16 so I "shouldn't" need another. I'd imagine a NEW distributor would be teh expensive, so no.

If that is indeed the case maybe that's why I'm having these low load surging issues. It does feel as though it may have something to do with spark or the electrical system. When you order these parts please ask Courtesy to expidite the order so I can have these on the car prior to my dyno tune. How long do you think it'll take? I'm willing to pay a small premium to get them here faster.

Jim,
The number you gave me does not look like a Nissan number. I would hate to think that your problem is so simple. We can order the parts once we get all the part numbers. I to am ready to order. Do you have any idea where/how to get these numbers quicker. Patience is not one of my virtues. Should we call someone with one of the engines.
What part number do I need to get? The one on the rotor?
Also, I did need a an oil pan (lower) but I cut/overflapped/welded mine so now it's fine.
I would like a dist. cap though. What would the price be?
SR16ve (176HP) version
I'm putting it in next weekend.
oh, and a MAF. I checked a Frontier and the part numbers where the same in some sections, but didn't have a couple letters with it. I think I will just use a B13 maf.

There is no part number printed on the exhaust manifold gasket. Someone will have to call SR20Development and see if they will give us the part #.
I have looked all over for the cap part number. I can assure you there is not one on the outside of the part. I also looked all over my old DE one (for reference) and it doesn't have a part number either.

Can you take the thing off and look inside. Also, take the rotor off and look at the rotor. Top and Bottom.
I doubt it would be on there, but it would be great if there was. the numbers will either start with 22157 for the rotor and a 22162 for the cap. both will have 5 numbers/letters after it.
