nice job/numbers...glad to see some of the hard work paying off. Do those custom grind's require S/R?

Nice work chuck. Those SAE #'s? The power that 4-1 made over the Fuji is great not just on the top but all over the place.

I have some question

Do that Engine Retain stock Spring and Retainer ?
Do the Rev show is 7500 rpm? it not so clear there

if YES
WOW>.
what a impressive result for bolt on cam only
i really wonder what it can do N1 intake manifold and proper tuning
and Rev it to 9000 rpm if the Spring and retainer is changed as well

Here is my opinion

graph 1

base run with Fuji header 196 HP
second run with 4 into 1 non stepped header 200 HP

Graph 2

base run with Fuji header 196 HP
second run with stepped 4 into 1 header 203 HP

Graph 3

base run with Fuji header196 HP
second run with N1 cams, cam gears +4 and -4 with 4 into 1 stepped header.and 209 HP

Looks like the straight 4 into 1 makes way more mid range torque and the stepped 4 into 1 makes more topend HP

These I feel are the correct figures. I feel that the spike at the end of the graph is from letting off of the dyno as this is generally a trend you see on most dynos and can be seen at the end of every pass on each graph. The torque and HP will not fall off and go up like that at the end of a power graph. This can be seen more so on graph 1 where the power up top is falling off and then spikes up exaple on the torque section.

Great comparision and thanks for the hard work Charles.

I agree with Andreas #, you have to ignore the spike at the end. These are very good #s nonetheless.

I think the motor would have made more with the rev limiter removed.

Charles, were the headers dynoed open or connected to the exhaust?

How are you able to run the 333 injectors on a G20 ecu and not run rich as a bitch?

A 2.2 L VE with 12 to 1 compression, (SR20turbofreak) header, Ported Head and cams in the 12.5mm lift with 304 degrees duration would make an easy 240-250 WHP motor.

So as you guys can see there is real potential here.

Also you guys will find that SR20turbo freaks header will perform better on a larger 2.2-2.4 L motor. Why you ask because the larger motor will give the big torque numbers in the mid range and the header will take care of the top end power.

So from reading these facts

The 4 into 1 header with 1.75 runners at 30 in primaries with 2.38 collector that is modeled after the header on my car which Greg V will be selling will be best for a 2 L motor with all the bolt ons.

The 4 into 1 SR20turbofreak stepped header at 26 inches will be better for high compression and or larger motors wil ported heads high compression and so on.

You guys know I will be rocking the Freakmasters stepped header on my 2.3L motor.

this is what we needed. this can make the all motor nissans extremely competative.

what other n/a 4 cyclinder is gonna rock with the 215whp 156ft motor. thats right in k territory, with a light enough hatch its killing them big time.

makes me want ve. i think i know what my next project is.

I'm gonna bump this question as it looks like the redline is 7500 RPMS.
The N1 cams peak HP numbers should be at 8200RPMS if I'm not mistaken. So, the WHP number should go up quite a bit with a NO redine ECU.

Very nice...

I think patiently waiting for you VE boys to do your thing has proven wise. Crazy power/dollar compared to the honda boys. This is very exciting. Give it a year or two and I'll be rockin' one... Until then I will continue to wait and watch the results.

I'm lost. You're running a little over 2 bar fuel pressure to compensate for the larger injectors? That's some innovative sh*t right there.
