SR16VE Gearbox

I'm looking for info on what type of oil to put in my SR16VE gearbox. All help would be much appreciated thanks

thanks bud didn't realise it took so much oil i would've only put about 2.5 litres in it

Pull out the gearbox speedo sensor at the back of the gearbox and use the speedo sensor as a 'dipstick' Oil should be on the speedo drive gear when the car has been sitting overnight.

You can just fill it til it overflows,castrol synthrax does the job well,not too exspensive either compared to the likes of redline.Make sure you loosen the filler plug before the drain plug aswell.

Have you tried CDA in Meath,they are breakinga vz-r at the moment.
