Tiny little data point, plugs.
My ve came from Dre with 7500 miles on it with the original BKR6E-N (hope that's right) plugs. Waited too long, but changed 'em at (engine) 13,500. running the MSD Digital 6+ and their 'cheap' coil (8207?? I'm not gonna look it up at this hour), I set them at .045 at the 7500 miles at install. At 13,500, they were about .053 or so, idle was a bit rough until hot. Replaced them with BKR6E's from Greg. Will ask him, don't know the difference with the "N". There seems to be a notable difference in rev 'willingness' with the new plugs. No hard data on 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, sorry. But the gap and idle data would suggest if you're going to run the stock copper plugs, 10-12,000 miles would be about optimal for change interval.
