hey i think its worth it, you will gain a few ponies as doing both usualy gets you around 10 hp, the exhaust i think is the one that gains the most

The car will make less HP. Than with the stockSR20VE cams

These 2 cams are not matched together.

The cam timing is way off and will not work right but if you dont belive me give it a twirl.

We tried it already and it made zero gains, nada. It seems the power is on the intake side. We went back and forth with cam gears and ignition timing no gains.

Say that i have my bone stock SR20VE and i opt for some more hp....So i'm buying a pair of SR16 cams and bolt them on. Would this gain of 10hp arise without any further tuning? .......Such as the use of an SR16 ECU? What would be better for this setup (SR20 with SR16 cams)? The stock 20VE ecu or an SR16 ecu?

This may be a bit old but what do you reckon ?

The SR16VE cams can be swapped into the SR20VE motor for a gain of about 5-10 whp but slightly less torque- more a top end gain.........For slightly more power get both exhaust cams from the SR16VE, since they are larger than the intake cam, and reverse the dowel hole and pin on one of them to run it on the intake side. However, the SR20 has an asymmetrical cam lobe shape- the opening ramp is much steeper than the closing ramp. If you put the exhaust cam on the intake side the profile will be backwards, changing the cam lobe point of contact, the valve velocity, and decreasing duration. It will eventually affect valvetrain stability and long term durability at high rpm.

I apologize in case this one already exists. I have probably missed it.
