N1 and sr16ve headers

Just a few pics people here might be interested in, my mates sr16ve header side by side with my sr16ve N1 header. Took the opertunity as we both got fujis recently fitted his tonight.

The longer of the two is my N1 manifold it seems to have wider and longer pipes,

Thanks for the comparison. I bet you could sell the N-1 manifold for some money.

Give them a acid bath and a heat proof coating! you will probably fetch more $$$ for them that way!

Yeah I've been up there pricing a few bits, I don't think there is anyone else who brings in that manifold.Any chance you got an APEXI NEO installed or know anyone who does?
I plan to get one for mine but not sure how worth while it'll be. Couture do em for 400 i've been lookin on nengun and there's a bit of money savin to be done.

You can buy it over the net yourself and save a few quid, nengun do have great prices.
I wouldn't bother with the manifold unless you have a good bit of other stuff sorted first, like intake and exhaust. There are some good people making manifolds on this site too.I think the neo is a bit overkill, but depends on what exactly you want out of it and the car i guess.

The only aftermarket parts on the car are a 5zigen Fireball exhaust, tein coilovers and black diamond drilled and grooved on the front.
lookin to put on the manifold a decat and get the neo aswell.
The main thing I'm lookin to improve is the torque and to get up to speed, seems like an eternity waitin for the power to kick in.
Any suggestions?

Well you might want to leave the cat in to help the torque. The manifold seems to help the power low down aswell as high rev's but don't expect any thing major.Try replacing the rubber intake tube on the intake for an aluminium one,i had this on mine and was a good mod plus i've heard about some good gains from it,i had a hks mushroom filter on it aswell though. The biggest increase i seen in performance was when i stripped out the rear of the car, everything went, the wait is a killer in them.

I've heard different views on getting induction kits, usuall replies from people telling me to get one cos of the sound you get out of them but if it's not an enclosed cold air feed will i loose power because the filter is just sucking in all the hot air from the engine?Aswell I don't really want the car bein stupidly loud cos the less attention from the cops the better!

Iv seen photos of fuji's next to the n1 manifold... honestly they look almost exactly the same other than the blingness of the fuji's.

If anything the n1 manifold looks like a smoother transistion to the secondaries.

The photos i saw were of someone replacing an n1 manifold with the fujitsubo.

The fuji practically bolted up to the n1 secondaries!!!! With some cutting to the secondaries to move the two pipes closer together.
