CAI with intercooler and Co2?

This could be a realy good idea or a realy dumb one, but I just have to ask.

Has any one done a cai with a front mount intercooler with a normal high flow filter at the end with Co2 sprayers for super cold air? I was thinking of doing this to the VE but I hear the VE engine wo'nt make good power with a normal cai, but I think this would get the VE some super cold air and more power. The only thing I was thinking was that it cold be a bad thing because the intercooler may disrupt air flow. Do you guys think the cold air would overcome this flaw?

I would like to hear your thoughts on this thanks.

Co2 intake or plenum which will save buying the intercooler and having a laggy long intake track or build a coffin around some of the intake pipe which can be filled with dry ice. Best idea i got now

but the intercooler on a NA dosn't sound very smart for the fact that the resriction in air flow will counter act the gain from cold air!

super cold air also reduces fuel atomisation, and you may get icing issues on your butterfly valve in the throttle body. Its not worh it for NA, on a turbo you are heating the air up so much everywhere else that it helps.

Just spray a little N20 instead.

I like turbofied's idea for track use, to bad I can not run around like that all the time.

Will, nitrous is kind of out of the question for me because I want to stay N/A.
