I would think youd have to use the bottom half of a rwd det and just use the head of the sr20ve.

the 240's transmission should bolt right up to the engine, with no problems

its been done already. there is a company here in japan that does it, but not sure if it is a conversion or an authentic rwd ve. there are lots of strange models of the s15 and i heard from somewhere that one had a ve in it but who knows if that is really true? from the photos i saw it looked clean but it was running a standalone Apexi computer with velocity stacks and no maf.

sorry, its not Apexi its an hks f-con v. it has to be done with the silvia ecu and DI system unless you cut a big hole in the firewall for the distributor. it is just a ve head swapped onto a de block. they are also running 12:1 with no problem.
