Headgasket question

Can I use a stock VVL headgasket on 87mm VVL block?

try getting the VET gasket machined out to 87mm

I would really like to find this out.

Some of the motor heads on this forum said you can use a VE headgasket with a 87mm bore motor (VVL) but I really want confirmation on this before i purchase a headgasket I won't be able to use. There wasn't too much discussion in the following thread...

I measured a 20V gasket and the inner bore was 86.5mm but the sealing ring was still alittle bit inwards so I think it might work but not 100% sure.

The cometic is good. but the ARP bolts are not up to the task. Thats were the problem is.

can I use
VVL Metal Head Gasket (which Greg sells) with bigger than 86 mm bore.
