My Baseline Dyno

I did a baseline dyno last weekend. I must of picked the hottest day to go on (103.6 deg ), but whatever.

Outcome 168hp 129tq

Specs.

Sr20ve
Wiring- stock ve
maf- stock ve
Injectors- stock ve
ecu- stock ve
exhaust- stock b13 ser
header- ssac 2.5"
tranny fluid- royal purple
engine oil- royal purple
Intake- No air filter
Clutch- Stage3 unsprung

So this is bone stock, with a header though its corked by the stock exhaust and 104deg out side temp. So Im pretty happy as I think it would be in the 170's if it was cooler like 70deg or something. What do yall think, everything look fine?

Besides the obvious, not running an air filter causes MAF turbulence. You would see even more power with say a JWT filter with a bellmouth. Nice number for a stock set up anyhow. Where did you dyno?

K, I put a air filter on it yesterday, yall were making me feel bad. Didnt lose any power doing so either. I had an air filter but was just to lazy to put it on. And I dynoed at Mainstream. I also went and bought Shell 100 octane race gas yesterday. Tryed it out last night and by the butt dyno its good for a good 5+hp believe it or not. Im gonna take off ac, ps, add exhaust, crank pulley and race gas and see if I can hit 190 whp before I get cams.

your not going to gain sh*t by just filling it up with some race gas, all it will do is actually create a slightly richer a/f and slow you down.....sorry

unless your running high comp and need it and/or your tuned for it
