Low Port/RR/VE TB differences...

Anyone have pics showing the differences? I know that the VE TB has the cold idle thermostatic actuator, but I want to retain cruise control, which I can't do with the stock VE TB.

I just looked at a mid-year lowport and it has a buncha extra junk on it that I really don't know what they do...

I've been told that the RR TB is close, and may work with CC.

Any help here?

Thanks,

_SHig

I used my original 94 lowport TB w/cruise on my VE and no problems in almost 3 years. My guess is that the 94-96 TB w/cruise would work since they are identical without the additional emission connections that the 98+ DE have on the lowport intake. 97 not sure about but should be no different than the 94-96. 00-01 RR TB should work also but since you have a B13 keep it simple. Any lowport DE TB w/cruise should work since the bolt pattern will fit on the VE intake.

Scott, I used my stock '96 TB and kept cruise. The bore size is the same between the VE and DE.
