well....since there are only 500 reported SR16VE N1's and i don't think any forum members have one, i don't think you'll be able to get a straight answer on this.....
now if u are referring to the SR16VE(non-N1) then you might get a straight answer from a forum member ;-)
(i'm a rumor monger, i heard that UR was going to do a limited run on pulleys for VE and gti-r motors, i don't know if the person speaking was referring that the pulleys would be the same, or that normal pulleys wouldn't fit....remember this is something i overheard....)

I spoke with UR and they told me the same thing. But the crazy thing is the VE uses the same crankshaft as the 2000+ Nissan Sentra 2.0 so if they are going to or already have made a crankshaft pulley for it then it will work with the VE. I don't know about the GTi-R crankshaft though...

For all you SR20DE 2000-01, SR16VE and SR20VE owners, do not, I repeat, do not put any type of aftermarket pullies on your crank. These motors have a 4 counter weight crank shaft that is prone to vibrations in the higher RPMs. If you put a aftermarket pully that does not have a dampener in it like the UR pullies you will have premature bearing wear in your motors and also you can have problems with your clutch bolts or flywheel bolts coming loose. Be my guest and fu*k up your motors.

andreas-
how would this problem manifest itself? i noticed some kind of rattling sound coming from the engine bay at higher speeds after installing pulleys, but i haven't figured out what it is... other than that, i don't "feel" any more vibration or anything...
also, do you speak from personal experience or theory?

Andreas,
alot of the members from www.b15sentra.net(SE's with the 2000+ sr20de engine) have the UR pulley sets installed....none of them have had any reported problems so far. what should they look for? how serious is this? a few have had them installed since 2000 if i'm not mistaken.
I am asking this because I have a GTi-R motor with an N1 front cover and oil pump. I would like the UR pulleys, but I am not sure if they will fit around the larger oil pump.
I may just stick with the $140 OEM N1 pulley I bought
I would also like some clarification on the UR pulley subject. SR20DE's have few options for low end tq. at this point and I was seriously considering the pulleys as a future mod, after I/H/E of course.

actually theres a few members with N1s, theres even an N1 head for sale right new, yes they are very rare but there out there.
I have had the UR pullies on an sr20ve (with sr16ve cams) for about 60,000 kilometers and have experienced no problems of any sort. There is an issue of a necessary spacer on the crank pulley but that is easily fixed. My engine runs exceptionally smooth and I have not felt any extraordinary vibration problems despite have Place Racing solid mounts. I carefully check my oil when changing for signs of bearing wear or particles in the oil but so far have seen nothing.
