SR20VE tomei cams

had somebody have any experience with these cams??

i couldnt find any VE cams?
i dont think they make them. those specs are factory cam specs for comparison with their cams.

Yeah they look like standard cam specs to me too.

One thing i did find interesting though was if you look at the cam specs for the p12 sr20ve the lobe centerlines are just about identical to franklins S4's. So Franklins obviously weren't the only ones that came at those "crazy" CL's

yes if you look at the top part in spec you have p11 an p12...

p11 are stock specs i think, but the p12 are much better


do you think that spec will work for a turbo??? p12

The are not "aftermarket"cams. These are the specs of stock cams.

well tomei cams for a s13DET have a centre line of 110* in and 115* ex
compare this to the 20v which has 114* in and 108* zorst on the high lobe

so with a set of adjustable cam gears should be quite easy to get the center line to the same spec that tomei have on there 280deg solid cam

also compare the low lobe to the to factory specs 116* in and 123 ex standard det
now the ve is 114in and 106ex

but keep in mind that 4deg will be taken out the intake and 7deg added to the zorst giving the total spec as 110in and 113 zorst for the low lobe

however this spec is very similar to the 256deg poncam only 2deg out on zorst side

and 6deg out on the intake and 10deg on the zorst compared to stock cams

so i think the 20v cams will work very well with a set of adjustable cam gears on a turbo motor

Well if you would like to get a set of these I am awaiting my motor mid Sept and will be sending the cams off to Franklin to have them copied.
