RPM Switch Install Question

Where do I tap into the distributor to install the RPM switch? Also, I am considering installing a MSD Ignition in the future. Would it be better to just install both at once? Once the MSD is installed it is easy to install the RPM switch’s but I have not researched what is involved with installing a MSD 6A or Crane HI6. Any, Ideas.

if you plan to race at the track get the 6AL. you have to crack open the distributor and solder in a new wire without messing up the distributor. i am starting on my rpm box this week
