I think it's the head swap that I'm going for. Lunar your the man from what I've heard and was directed to hit you up for info. I get my motors this week and will go from there. So thanks for everyone who came on this thread, I'm always looking for advice and knowledge from my fellow VE guru's. Stay in touch and let the flow of info out!!! =)

Lots of info in that link. Also you will either need to modify the firewall or relocate the solenoids like Luna240Z did. The distributor will also require clearance. I would suggest using a CAS from a Sr20VE 20V engine. This will reduce the fire wall modificatton needed.
Ya beat me! I knew I saw an adaptor plate somewhere..

Yeah, that was me(Troll33 from TR)

Again, good luck on it, and stray away from the idiots on TR, half of them are haters and the other half are rednecks.

Hey man thanks for the pic's. I'm for sure going to put the VE head on the DE
block and tranny. I have my motors, kit and basically everything I need except for my CAS (cam angle sensor) which is 6 weeks to 3 months out no matter who I buy it from but it's in the mix. I'm going to start the head swap this weekend with 2 of my friends solely based off Luis's swap and the hours and hours of research that I've done. I now have a good understanding of how everything works. The main thing I'm worried about with this swap is putting the head back on which is freaking me out. My buddy has done a couple of head swaps and has told me not to worry. He's worried about the tap and relocation, I'm not so worried about that due to Luis's thread he put up ( I will have my laptop right next to me at the shop, lol) I guess sometimes you just have to go for it and hope it works out. =)

So yeah we've got the head ofF and have done the tap on the VE head. Big thanks to my engine swap program manager Avshi and big up to Luis for the great instruction thread. Hopefully this week we should have the head done and start the motor insert!!! Pictures of swap to come and if you want to see the tap "how to" then look to Luis's thread.
