SR20DE extractors on VE engine?

Hi there, i have an SR1VE pulsar which i am converting to 2L. Will a set of SR20DE extractors fit this engine? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...48050.htm?p=28
Please only answer if youre sure of know someone who would know.... misinformation is really frustrating!!

Yes they will fit straight on, however the ports don't match 100%. More power will come easily from a proper VE header!

I know it works cause my SR20VE has SR20DE Advance headers on it atm.

Thanks very much.... can i get it port matched?? VE headers are extremely hard to come by here... and expensive! Might see if i can import some through work @ Kelford Cams

Yes you can but again proper VE headers are the way to go!

Tell me about it, VE headers aren't cheap/easy to come by here in Aus either that's why I've done the same thing with DE headers that you're planning to do. I still think that DE headers should only be a bandaid though until you can get some proper VE ones!

soo what did yas end up doing? do you get any change in the horsepower from putting DE headers on the VE engine or does it just choke the engine? i too have an sr20ve that im trying to get headers for an as you say they are damn hard to come by!
