Tip Tronic Question...

Hey... i am lookin to put a SR20 VVTL Half Cut top put into one of my Pulsars. (with a 1.6l in it with piston slap) and the half cut im lookin at is a tip tonic, but im not sure if theyre any good because no one in Austrlian know any thing about them. Im cant rememeber if it a 5 or a 6 speed but i just need a little guidence weather it would be worth puttin into my car.
Also can i run a GTI-R AWD geear box off the blue top? I think this would make a kicker of a converstion...

Cheers

we have a cvtm6 in our wagon. its pretty good for driving around town, feels really lazy. kinda feels like a slipping clutch. goes good when warmed up though.

If i were you forget about it and put a 5 speed in

If no one in Aus knows about CVT's chances are its gonna be hard to get the NS1 fluid you need for them

It would be the worst thing you could do. The Hyper CVT does not do the VVL motor any justice. I use to drive a fair bit of these in CVT in N.Z. and they are awfull.
