Greg, Hydro TO means "Hydraulic Throw Out" which is SHiglish for hydraulic slave cylinder. Don't know why I was thinking throwout bearing, er, I mean I KNOW why I was thinking it, but, you know what I mean!!
Yeah, it's a stick for sure. Cable shifter, hydro, and probably 6-speed.
Learn me something (besides SHiglish; gotta work on that independently... ): what made this worth so much more than your garden-variety VVLs we pick up for $1500 or so? Is the 6-speed tranny worth that much, or is there something special about the 01+ Primera VVL? Or both?
20V has different cams makes 204 vs. 187, already has the correct bellhousing to mate a sr with spec v transmission. Among other differences(bigger clutch, better header, bigger flywheel), the head is just superior. Not sure why it was 3gs though, the last one was 2500. Also I believe if you had a P11 you can use the 6-speed transmission easier then we could.
They are very rare as well. What kind of LSD is in that 6sp? 20V has higher comp pistons, big (near N1 spec) cams, really really nice exhaust manifold and a better head as well as an 8 cw crank. Among other things.
Just the fact that it has the tranny on it is worth it. But its not expensive compared to a B type r which are easier too get and it still costs more money than that 20V without a tranny.
