Using a set of 4-1 on a worked 20ve, from reading it sounds like the cam switching has to be raised a fair bit compared to using some 4-2-1 extractors, is this correct?
I'm building the motor for circuit sprints so don't want the cams switching too high leading to dropping of the high cam on gear changes.
If you have the MSS to control when the cam kicks on you can also control when it shuts off. example if u set them to come at 6k you can have them stay on until 5k or 4k if you wanted. If it's a rom tune you should be able to do the same with the VVL ecu I would hope.
