I'm hooking up my MSD 8950 with RPM Selector and I have a 4 pin relay to go with it...I have everything figured out so far except for Pin 86 on the relay...I know that 85 goes to the yellow wire of the MSD 8950 and the 30 pin goes to the VVL solenoids and the 87 Pin should get a 12v power source...The 86 is the only one that stumps me....I've done some searching and I found that it needs to go to a "switched power source" but I have no idea what that means...Please help....Thanks for any info...
Earth would be the logical place. But that depends on how the MSD is wired. Try doing a search on MSD and relays. I remember someone did post a digram up a few months back...
I knew all that but what does it mean by Switched Power does it mean like an o2 sensor or something that turns on and off with the car? Thanks for any info
