SR20DET to VE

hey guys,

I have a U12 DET engine bay loom in my car at the moment, I just purchased a sr20ve with engine loom and ecu, there is a few plugs on the engine I have NFI about, I'm assuming some of them are for the old CVT box, but things like starter and all that which should connect to the loom hasn't got the same plugs, I expected this.

Does anybody have a write up on how to do such a conversion? or do I just connect up the simple things and go from there?

Thanks in advance guys,
Chris.

Well what kind of car is it? Is it a 5 speed? You may be better off running a wire loom from a highport fwd sr20de. The only thing you do then is extend the ground wire for the injector harness. Mock it up and see how it fits if you can handle some down time. This may be a question the the Aussies are more prepared to handle.
