I'm thinking bout upgrading my stock sr16ve to 2 litres, wtk if I'll have to get bigger injectors and 20ve air flow, are the sr16 and sr20 air flow the same? and what pistons should I use, sr16ve or sr20ve? I intended to just swap out the crank and rods and pistons.

If you use the SR20VE pistons, you're going to lower the compression. If it were ME, I'd run the SR20VE crank with with SR16VE pistons. More stroke + higher compression = more power.

yeah either change the crank or change the pistons, changing the crank will give you the boost in compression and power which is what most opt to do, The cylinder bore is the same in both motors, its the stroke and piston that makes the displacement difference

Thanx for the info, mind you the highest octane pump gas available to me is 95, 16ve pistons stroked to 2 litres might bring my CR too high for pump gas, does anyone have the CR numbers for that set up (20 crank, 20 rods, 16 pistons)? tryin to avoid any fuel management, if possible, and can anyone shed some light on my question on the injectors and air flow?

Same here. want to do this same project but only have 90 octane available so i'm not sure what pistons to use. HELP!

I really dont want to use any piggy back device either. Want to keep it simple.
