If you are going to drop this into a SR16 to stroke it out, I personally think that the 8CW crank from a DE would be better... get it o balanced and be set. Hell, might even wanan knife edge it or something... Anyone can chime in though and give more info.

Ya its going into an sr16ve with sr20 eagle rods. There is mixed opinions on the 4 cw crank and high revs but i dont mind the fact its gonna wear quicker.

Knife edging is outta my budget now and no where in my country will do it so want the lighter 4 cw crank for faster revs!!

it a good 2have 8cw then4cw...
but your perception is acceptional...i
I blend a complete SR20VE engine with complete SR16VE engine
everything seem work well at 1st few month but now i got a serious problem.
i cant figure out what cause this, but it seem like distributor who make trrouble.
now i wait for ve distributo to try...
the problem is having a knocking sound from the head when accelation.
i dont know what is the problem....it get blur after i dignose and check every posiblity.
if any one could help?

steal one from a roller rocker engine. same crank. the roller rockers in the US came with the 4 cw crank.

can liighten/reduce the weight of the 8CW to the similar of 4CW..?

but maybe it would be better to balance the crank & your bottom end at the same time.
