It really depends on the car. There is a lot of variability between engines. Probably what matters the most is whether you are getting a good air fuel ratio (low 13s). At least one list member ran a DE ECU with DE MAF and VE injectors and still got good power and AFR. But it's not certain that this would be the case with your car.

Also, JWT swears that there is no difference in power between the DE and VE MAF. This is probably true unless you install a serious cam upgrade.

The best way to figure this out is to test your setup on a dyno using a good wide band O2 sensor.

I used my de ecu, de maf, ve inj with my base timing at 20*-22*. I noticed hardly any difference when I put the ve maf and calum ecu in.

Im running a ve ecu with an aftermaket motherboard set for 8500rpm, ve everything else, runs like a champ. Im gonna dyno it this weekend, to see how much power it will be over the stock ecu. I expect 10hp but thats mainly becuase of having more rmps available, rather then running n1 cams and having a 7200rpm max.

where did you get your VE ECU chipped?

I'd like to change my rev limit to about 8500 rpm or so on my 20VE ECU also thx.

Zero. It has to be that high when using the de ecu with ve injectors, or else the car is a slug.

Do you put just the injectors? or you use a safc or something like that.

i think i cant change the injectors without a ecu modification.

is posible to change them with no problems?

If I had an safc, then I wouldnt have had to put the base timing so high. The only thing I had was the de ecu with the ve injectors, no safc. If you will search around, there are plenty of people who have used that same combo until the were able to get a JWT/Calum ecu, with no problems.

You change the timing by moving the distributor?

No deberías usar mínimo los inyectores de VE?

Qué bujías traes? y a cuánto están calibradas?

Retira una bujia y checa como están, estoy casi seguro que estás corriendo pobre

Plenty of people. You would need a b14 maf plug and splice it into your harness, your b13 plug wont work with the ve maf. Search around, you will find all of the info you need.
