VE CON ROD BEARINGS HELP

Hey guys, i need some advice, my VE span a con rod bearing. Car never saw any RPM pass 7200, using stock DE everything.

DE ECU
DE INJECTORS
DE MAF

Anyway i want to rebuild engine, called the local Nissan dealer, said they carry the bearings but i need to know the specs on the VE bearings, he said it would be (reference number) marked on the CON ROD or the cam shaft cap, can anyone tell me what (specs\gauge\number he is taking about), he said something about gauge (0\1\2 or something like that).

Are the VE bearings the same as the DE?\

Should i change the main bearings as well?

I was driving in morning traffic when this happened idling and blowing AC, what oil do you guys use?

I think it's the Roller Rocker stuff that you use since thats the newest SR20. Why not just get a 8CW crank shouldn't be too hard to find.

There will be two rows of numbers stamped onto the crank shaft (can't see it till you open up the bottom of the engine obviously). The group of 5 is for the main bearing grades (reference) and the group of 4 is the numbers you are after for the big end.

either crank will work, but the 8cw has aadvantages as does the 4cw. the 4cw is lighter and will rev faster. the 8cw is better balanced for high revs.

yes there many vote for 8CW is better than 4CW.....
i do agree......do us need to change the crank main bearing(10pcs) or the con rod bearing(8pcs) as well if we change to 8CW?
is the VE conrod can be use for 8CW crank shaft or use back the DE assisting con rod?
