It Feels So Good.

I finally went out in my car. This things feels great. I only put 15 miles on it and was taking it kinda easy most the time. I got one really good opportunity going around a corner in first gear. I nailed it, the tires didn't spin (QUAIFES RULE) and it just shot out. It feels similiar to my friends M3 rights now. I really need to drive it some more to get a better Idea. I am also still going to get the SR16 cams from Andreas and I am getting a 2.5 inch exhaust on friday. Right now I have the stock exhaust. I also just hooked up the CAI. I have a metting with a 14.9 sec. SE-R classic tonight. Should be fun. I am taking it easy on the clutch but I figure once I am off the clutch its ok to rev it up.

You better not tell your wife that you were in the car and boy "it feels so good", you might be sleeping out on the couch. Well maybe thats not a bad idea because when she goes to sleep you can sneak out with the new girl.

I don't mind any questions. I recieved so much help from local friends Jim and Andreas and Bigtom that I feel I should help others.
I ordered a full Magnaflow exhaust with 2.5 inch resonator and everthing. I guess all those pictures of Kojima with a Magnaflow on his car just got to me. It is only costing me 325 installed. I couldn't have bought the parts for much less then that.

Don't like the Greddy tip. Actually hate it. Also it drones and this one is a lot cheaper and has a lifetime on all the Magnaflow parts. Plus It will fit with my trailer hitch if I want it to. Greddy wont.

Steve is right. I had to modify the Greddy exhaust and a mounting point on the receiver hitch to keep the two from hitting. Not hard but something to consider if you plan to pull a small trailer.

Great news on the car, Steve. I look forward to hearing of the more spirited runs over the next couple days. I'm especially interested in the driveabilty impressions pertaining to ECU.

the exhaust is going to make such a big difference. you dont even realize. and be carefull it'll get loud when those cams open up. everyone who does a 2.5in exhaust on their ve has come back with a bigger smile than they had before. oh and dont run temp 7 plugs if you were thinking about it. i had a lot of misfiring with them even on my race program. they are just too cold and foul up at idle. takes a few minutes of hard driving to burn them off. temp 6 should work fine going to those next....but my engine will be built then hope it all works out.

i am glad to hear that you like that thing. hows the shifting with that broken finger??
