What is the VE octane rating?

I didn't find anything in the search. I'm just wondering what octane rating the 20VE uses. Thanx!

Premium fuel because the compression ratio is high. out here in Cali 91 is the best we have unless you pay more for the race fuel at the pump.

it depends on what kind of tune. i think you could get away with 89-90 if your not running a very aggressive timing curve. but im running 92+ because im running quite a bit

first you need to check all these numbers to see if it is quoted as RON, MON, or (RON + MON)/2, then you stand a chance of using any of those mythical numbers above.
The rating you can run depends on the engine tuning as well.

Exactly. 98 in NZ/ZA/AUS/UK is like 93 in US.
