Re: Put your cam switching points here

Exhaust: 4000 rpms
Intake: 4600 rpms

Yes, exhaust before intake. Dyno shows about a 1-2 hp benefit from 4000-4600 rpms with these points. I know of one other VE that also found better results switching the exhaust cam first.

Re: Put your cam switching points here

Has anyone played with cam phasing? Perhaps advancing the intake cam to increase overlap will be beneficial.

It's been discussed, but I'm can't recall anyone sharing their tuning results publically yet.

Yes, I read that Mike Kojima found some horespower through cam adjustments. Perhaps he will chime in.

Re: Put your cam switching points here

Every set up will be different , if you mock my whole set up , then my adjustments will work. But with different items , you have to dyno and tune for your car!!!

How much power did you make? Its interesting that raising the fule pressure with the JWT makes more power on VE cars. I have a flat spot that goes away when I increase the pressure. I need to re dyno with my test pipe.
