How do I know if my head is SR16VE
I've probably missed something in my searching but I'm not sure if maybe my head is 1600ccve.Its definately a SR20VE block and the rocker cover is BLUE not black...I'm not sure if the cover has been swapped or if the whole head has been changed.I sure hope so for the cams.

The head is the same, its the crank, rods, and pistons that are different between the two. If your block says SR20, that's what you have.

no the head isnt the same. the cams are different.

but some probly just swapped over the VC. dyno it. thats how youll know.

Yes the cams are different, but the head itself is the same. More than likely, if the block says SR20, then its a SR20 motor.
