I saw that also. It's not an N1 motor, but it does have either an N1 VC or a brightly powdercoated red VE VC. Would be nice to see an N1 over here somewhere.

i couldnt see the injector and the throttle body measurement
but a peek at the Speedo can almost 50 percent is SR16VE N1
since it stated AUTECH . unless the japanese changed the speedo
but no way since if japanese change speedo, the KMH should be 240 already
but the cable type gearbox i heard only applicable on N1 first batch
not sure. just my opinion
correct me if i was wrong
if it was a n1.. it would have the 8 injector intake manifold.. it it did you would notice it form the picks he took. and i belive he would mention that also.

1800 seems a little pricey. When I see SR16s on ebay and elsewhere they are usually like around $800. I guess it has the tranny, but other than that the rest of the stuff would be useless.
where did you see a sr16 for $800 on ebay? shoot if that's the case i'd grab 3 of them with the quickness...

i`m pretty sure that engine was a N1, as i own one.
if you look closely at the top picture, you can see two fuel pressure regulators.
two sets of injectors, two pressure regulators, one set of injectors, one pressure regulator?
